Additionally, low fungicide antibiotic mix suites cells show sensitivity to higher amount of Amphotericin B.

Penicillin/Streptomycin Antibiotic Mix (100X) prevents bacterial, mold & virus as well as yeast and to some extent mycoplasma . Moreover, most of the cell lines, unless they are maintained fully aseptic and come from an aseptic facility, need a mixture of antibiotics to prevent various above-mentioned contamination.
